Jean-Pierre D'Zahr is a pioneer in the digital revolution of the late 80s. D'Zahr's extensive career began as a commercial photographer in Seattle. From 1989-99 D'Zahr dove into the cutting edge of digital imaging where he achieved national acclaim. During those 10 years D'Zahr worked in Graphic Design and Web development industry for companies such as Microsoft, Space Labs Medical, Holland America Cruises, Golden Globe Awards, NBA Charlotte Hornets Basketball, Live Picture Software, and many others.
During the early 90s D'Zahr also helped co-found Digital Zone, a Photo CD Library company which sold stock images worldwide. In 1997 D'Zahr was hired by The Boeing Company where he helped develop a large scale external Web site for the McDonald Douglas Merger and then received a prestigious Achievement Award from Boeing. 1999-2000, D'Zahr worked for COMBIO designing PORTALS for financial institutions developed by COMBIO.
Dr. Baili Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Zhang has five years experience in back-end Web technology, including the design of relational database, B2B and B2C e-Commerce system, Web portal and target oriented online advertisement system. Dr. Zhang has expertise in J2EE, JDBC, Java Mail, JSP, Servlet, Swing, ASP, C++, perl and in Web server configure such as Apache, Apache JServer, Tomcat, WebLogic, Java Web Server and IIS. As one of the two key software engineers at Miva Corporation, he designed and implemented Miva Merchant 2.0, which has more than 60,000 licensed customers such as E-Bay and Dell. Dr. Zhang also successfully developed Web projects for AT&T, Cisco System, Exodus Communication, and Carlton Solution for Education. Dr. Zhang has a total of over twelve years experience in scientific computing, algorithm design and numerical modeling. Dr. Zhang has published ten papers in related computing journals and was one of the key scientists for STS-83 and STS-94 space shuttle mission experiments in 1996.
