KC-767 Tanker/Transport KC-767 Tanker/Transport is available in either the boom configuration or the hose and drogue configuration, or both. It features military avionics, an automated director television system, a refueling operator control station, and an option for built-in auxiliary fuselage fuel tanks. In configuring a commercial 767 for the tanker/transport mission, the main cabin is left free for cargo and/or passenger transportation, allowing for simultaneous refueling and airlift operations or on successive sorties without time-consuming reconfiguration of any kind. Advanced avionics and upgrades also are available for the popular KC-135.
